Children are the future. This is why we’ve worked hard to make sure that Friends Kids is a fun and interactive place where they can explore their walk with God. We partner with parents to instill spiritual principles that strengthen and sustain the next generation as they grow.

Services:

WHAT TO EXPECT:

When you arrive, stop by our check-in station in the lobby. Our team will help you get your child checked in and provide a secure check-in tag.

Elementary kids start the morning in the main service with you and are released during the service. After service, you can pick them up in our Kids space upstairs.

Our Values

  • We value the parents being the spiritual leaders in their homes and the church body partnering with them in that calling.  Although church is really important, we believe that the family has the primary responsibility to train up a child.

    Passage: Deuteronomy 6:4-9

  • We don’t believe in a junior Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit wants the hearts of our kids more than we do. We believe that the Scriptures and the Spirit want to speak to our kids about Jesus.  We want to align ourselves with the Spirit as we do ministry with kids.

    Passage: Proverbs 22:6

  • We value Jesus being seen in the larger story of the Bible. The Bible can capture the mind and heart of a child and it can speak to the larger story of Jesus and the Gospel. We hope to connect the Bible to the larger story of the Gospel and not teach the Bible in random, disconnected ways from the larger story of Scripture.

    Passages: Psalms 78:5-8 and 2 Timothy 3:15-18

  • Jesus modeled that children are important to God’s heart.  We value the safety and security of every child in our church ministry.  This means that we are diligent with check-in and check-out procedures, volunteer screening, and access to the kids during the service.  We hope that children become curious and learn how to read the Bible on their own.

  • One of the greatest gifts that children bring is their curiosity, joy, and fun.  We hope that kids ministry at Friends brings hope and joy to a child's life. Galatians 5:22 - “The fruit of the spirit is joy…”

Service Times

Sundays 9AM | 11AM

We strongly recommend arriving 10 minutes before the start of service so you can park, check in your kiddos, grab some coffee, and find a seat. Services are about 70 minutes long and include worship and an inspiring message from the Bible.
